Police Service Preparation Program

This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

You must be/have:
, D& i7 _* I2 k6 h" Z• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
* U1 h4 _1 f: G/ j8 w6 ?* c. w• Minimum 18 years of age
; y" {1 p) [  X/ Z  z• Good moral character
* y7 |9 z" `/ F& l, l7 t• Good health and physical condition
" T8 n- N, u' O- S/ B• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted

• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
