Job Duties / Responsibilities
7 G+ R3 _0 I6 n3 EThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
4 F9 u4 q3 W# |" h+ `• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
2 D! L# M. V# g) N8 E2 n• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
+ D+ j# D/ t" U6 @# _• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
9 w1 j; b9 ^8 G8 ]3 E• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
" x# [2 I) _- M. S- L+ F• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
7 \3 o+ }, P! l( R  ]3 y" Z• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
9 @3 p6 ~: R+ @7 X3 h• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
