Job Duties / Responsibilities: d7 C- C7 x3 Y$ S8 }4 v
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: ( ?! o) r. x/ f+ f# s! W# `$ u. y
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support1 c6 D! u7 s; t) w& |4 \
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
" r6 `" o/ S7 Y" R p• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
S3 H0 k5 ]3 ^9 s) w4 L. K* H• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
! L- F# F; P$ F: O" `7 m• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams$ n/ q8 P! z$ {8 J# }6 A2 x
• Autocad and Microstation drafting8 _8 N( _2 g% o8 h; i5 F9 I
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables* a( U9 c' l3 r0 D8 L. x
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
6 ~, Y1 X2 n9 F2 f. r7 _/ L• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.. u9 t$ J0 a! @% i

Education / Experience
9 U1 N! v" i# j6 I' p2 f9 S• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI F) \ L% k ^. p$ K" p3 L
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator! c1 ]! C. e u; I4 E6 ?3 A
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
+ p* a% B9 f0 K• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
+ h! J. C- r4 T8 h/ A• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset) t3 c+ _8 Y3 \/ u
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
