Job Duties / Responsibilities1 Y9 h) ` L4 _. M7 \
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: / U6 G& F1 o: i2 ^2 q+ Z) n$ m( W
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
5 X. o+ l7 q: B3 y$ I/ A0 z% \6 h. k9 H• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel1 G5 G7 {: X& K7 r) A0 u
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts1 T9 w% {2 b8 D6 Y. X+ O2 ^: _
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments' ]. K! H! _; e1 a
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams4 M! r3 z4 ^+ l. W# U" J1 j
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
* p0 ?1 u& t' n4 {7 c/ ~• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables: L$ T* p8 \9 s( ]' \
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
0 N* H) |; y: T! d• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

_5 j: ]$ A8 H$ {0 O: V3 jEducation / Experience: z# T- G. z* K. ~4 C0 w, ^/ Y8 t
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
$ H. N7 I. P2 L5 q- v• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
/ V3 j8 z- p3 F/ g9 y5 Q8 u• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered$ w; U5 V, t- ?+ p( Y2 v6 l1 W
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required0 N: Y- b3 d. l8 x7 a1 i
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset# k9 x: J) C3 c3 Q. h+ v/ Q
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
