available, including signs and symptoms of influenza and what you should

In this and any flu season, it is important to take responsibility for

influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close
7 J# C8 ^0 @& D9 b, N, {; R# vcontact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and
' U! C- M& H5 a! ?; w/ c2 u" kdoorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and
6 {1 @1 c7 F8 i! M! ^' `) {then unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.2 c5 i- Q- s+ _& A% J$ G( x, C
Practicing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your
' f+ C" \4 ~) bcough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta
9 g6 K: p. m8 B- f$ h" h! j1 nHealth and Wellness will greatly assist in minimizing the chance of. r1 _ \: x# `: B
