influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close! }. t, Q4 m6 S* U
contact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and2 f+ I6 Z2 ^+ {" q9 M/ u6 v& G
doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and
4 }* U9 v& [ F* t/ ^) ^then unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.8 W; a: D' |: h; d# T
Practicing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your( X* a& q5 N* p$ f/ ~, [
cough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta
