The deadline for submitting our bid to Canadian Heritage was November 30, 2009. Edmonton EXPO 2017 submitted its bid to the Province of Alberta and Canadian Heritage by this deadline. # B% I9 [) @3 y' X6 Y- A/ x" c
The Canadian bid city decision is expected in spring 2010. $ d) D# K' e* W; O
The international competition follows. The earliest Canada can submit its bid is in June 2011. 0 w8 ?% J+ M1 d% U2 g6 R2 b
The host city will be voted on by members of the International Exhibitions Bureau in the fall of 2012. $ y8 ?, \& V( z) U( {/ I" ^9 t' ]
