The Materials Management Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to perform administrative duties and assist with the procurement of goods and services through various vendors. Responsibilities include:

· Providing purchasing and invoicing services, including creating, placing, expediting purchase orders and processing them for payment using SAP.+ w& T7 g$ p$ d& h1 f

· Reconciling monthly purchases on Corporate Procurement Cards.2 \) F% h6 e. {( n% {

· Coordinating the purchase and issue of service recognition items, member name tags, and business cards.2 ]" v7 t& b! S# Z6 u* A* ]9 _
( I4 G8 _) B* q5 g1 Z$ h. e- i· Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, filing, preparing and distributing agendas, mail services, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and coordinating the Manager’s meeting and schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Two years diversified word and information processing experience.+ g' |+ ?6 O; I( V( S9 x

· Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including some lifting, bending, and carrying material.

21M, Salary Grade: 006, $1,053.13 - $1,307.68 (Bi-Weekly), $27,486.82 - $34,130.38 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
