, Z* g% h; ]; d+ H- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth/ |8 A4 U f; \
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
3 z: o" s8 H! S- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups( A3 Q3 I6 S% P7 M) B
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
* f" h. S/ K# @/ d- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health ~% F I: d2 g, S$ M( f

1 ~! t6 l' V+ oKey Qualifications:0 }7 g/ b" Q6 @: f e0 p$ O
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences% `2 ~. m& a1 M. b
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement# h* o* g; C; l3 A7 \
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others; f4 R$ x- ^: Z; d
- Experience doing program development4 N: Z0 R6 T4 ^
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
/ h6 ~& c6 e9 D( ?- Self-directed and able to take initiative
+ C: U% m; f& }- a# u9 q/ y- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset- o! r* N8 Y- [1 q
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license5 H! I# M2 R# r) Z: C1 r, X$ I, R

- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities

- Some evening and weekend work may be required
