- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
/ Q8 E. k0 n5 J+ D- j- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling" N; T' w9 M- i7 y# z- X. U" H
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups! N7 E. m$ ]; h! `* ?, ]
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs) t( X, ]; n4 I- p' r$ a4 L* k/ }
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health. C0 X. \& z" y* v4 W+ z- l! X2 i8 m

( v) s6 e1 }$ ?4 ]Key Qualifications:
n. Y! y* o, A! H0 c- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
4 x$ t: f1 B; ^; T A- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
/ H: ~) W! Y- w% u- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others4 P. m( }* w' a4 A+ S2 k( g
- Experience doing program development
, g3 `0 }& ^ J- Strong organizational and coordination skills1 H$ s3 d" D: T% ?7 k& `
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
5 w/ T4 U6 C7 h5 {- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
# S' i5 t3 K; C# O+ B5 p. T- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license" k' k0 I6 d8 m) g1 i

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation

- An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
