Terms: Full-time (35 hours per week).

( Y, X0 ]) E) U  U. r2 o* vResponsibilities:
8 ?/ ?) Z' p1 V-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
; T3 n+ u" ]% I-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health


Key Qualifications:
7 `4 `$ ^+ f  I) M8 Z( i6 [, C-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
' l5 j; R) w4 U' T% y% x4 I-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
2 W5 G0 w/ q3 w# J6 v3 `-        Experience doing program development
- ~- Y* \) a9 @- [6 W0 w2 X5 r* O-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset

-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions
