- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
6 h( R; U# L( A! A; i- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
+ y, m3 p' T. R4 |- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
! ~$ Z' q% T. k7 g9 s" V1 }- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
7 R6 i/ p% Y4 p7 I4 y/ U! K- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
2 G6 z& I- p) L* c6 ?- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
- Tend ovens which cure metal coating
