On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

& h- |* T2 e6 i3 p+ h3 y! t$ W) TBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:, l6 ~$ f4 O. O) ^1 Z; _" M

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
# v% C6 d' W0 ydigging for and examining fossils
, a# W! Q" H* e- s- s8 [9 mexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
0 X0 q; [" i* [/ D0 pinvestigating insects ' E) k0 {$ L' V5 M* G' b
and much more!3 q, C, S" Z o* Q6 Y
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

) j L% X7 Q* UScience Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
