Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:
7 ^8 L6 t! c6 f3 U) C5 | After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
; b2 [/ U# U( ^0 B3 R# aIt is a cycle.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
( m- e+ Y q7 `( ~$ R$ M9 kSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.& n @$ N! p2 ~0 q% u* e
The problem should be inside the bucket.; e9 Y% c8 {& v7 N& I7 M) N

Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
. D3 |0 ~, d* v/ D9 @9 T) KConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

The next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.$ ^) V( V. G' p6 R! }* F8 w4 Q
They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
1 m9 Z m7 V' h- B' }5 p( k It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. & Z# G$ f* P' @" {- E

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
