Any input on Cutler-Hammer Starter?

After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the  start and stop buttons on DCS screen  , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
! B8 b; l! i" u, x2 mSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
The problem should be inside the bucket.

When the problem happened, we observed that  the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
  B$ e( _- u. c; c& c8 F% \- M. s' C5 YUse a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
8 ~5 k' A- r" KConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we  bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

  a5 ]5 g0 t: U- s/ h, VThe next thing we can think of  is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
0 ?: l- \! ]* g# q4 E) _+ rThey  have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered  the connection and tried again.
/ G; N5 C0 C; S, a It is getting better  this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.

Don't know cutler –hammer advantage  starters very well, but had been worked on AB switch gears for a little while, which has two different coils, one to pull the vacum bottles up which employs larger current, another one uses less current to hold the connection---if the second coil fails, it won't be able to seal the connection.
