Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb4 h& h$ n( r3 n- R* w6 D- J# o
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
7 z$ @ E( t+ C" y2 {The gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume) $ F. [* }/ \( r- o4 k3 Y
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG6 j0 a( g# B3 h+ y, x+ z: u
! {! t+ K# v7 j6 M
Official gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29
