Responsibilities: To coordinate the Immigrant Women Asset Building Program; To work as part of a holistic team and with the cultural community to recruit participants, provide service delivery and evaluate the program. Staff and the cultural community will provide on-going support and direction to participants under the leadership of the Program Coordinator; To deliver and evaluate the program; To supervise staff and volunteers; To case manage the participants in the program by developing Capacity Mapping for immigrant women and ensuring a Portfolio Development experience.1 X U: v2 l/ G6 ?+ d
X/ @7 W; ^' }" a) X# m- kPLUS: To support immigrant women in the development of social networks and community supports, including outreach (home visits), if needed; To advocate on the participants’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers; To ensure financial coordination and compliance of the program; To ensure documentation coordination of the program; report writing and the gathering of statistical information. Skills & Experience: Demonstrates strong initiative & commitment to providing quality services working in an intercultural environment with immigrant women; Experience in holistic case management;

W7 L; AExperience working in multi-disciplinary/collaborative environment; Knowledge of Asset Based Approach, Portfolio and Leadership Development; Ability to manage time effectively, flexibility/open-minded; Ability to perform a variety of diverse tasks; Proficiency in both official languages is an asset, as is fluency in languages other than English/French; Ability to create a team/work collaboratively with other colleagues & other service providers; Ability to research; library, internet; Evening/weekend work required.

Education / Technical Skills: Post-secondary education, diploma or degree, preferably in community development, other fields (education, social work, or related fields) will be considered; Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point; A clean driving abstract and car is needed for this position. ! m r2 |! h+ f# K3 b% d( c
