Responsibilities:
+ w8 K1 o& ~) T-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program (ages 6 to 15)
-        Recruit children for summer programs
  A: m2 e0 ]- d8 g" x-        Recruit and train volunteers for summer programs
-        Budgeting and record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
: _! f3 e" Q3 ~: e-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
3 Q; O/ b  q) d' S1 e; x) N-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student to post-secondary institution in Fall 2010
-        Have current first aid certificate

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
