1 H; z8 a' U& p. b/ AThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.. q: o: W' Y5 s. {" x% `7 F' H

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers' Y, x7 ?( Q  T. w) v8 b" o
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution , f$ q% r: m1 ?) M& ^) A- T
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation" o. |1 B/ M* \5 X
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times  O/ @+ a9 V  q/ X$ a  k
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk2 e6 G* j' r* S+ j  Z
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
5 E/ d& }" K, g, X" @6 _/ l§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience6 Q* m2 K4 t7 D1 e. Z
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision; S: }; ^% Q: f5 L, o5 X# q
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service# G. E! E/ I' }
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
5 F* e0 k9 N5 X- X8 U* P§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware, i/ j8 J* ~; `- r: E$ A2 J
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
, r% y2 \& {) V& u§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems; b- O; u- u5 A# B

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 6 L; g/ _) n; a6 g8 F

Responsibilities:

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group
& b$ i! `& A! a  \9 M! j§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support9 A/ Z% a% `9 d% h4 u0 e
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives& I7 _1 z% `( t! M* n. d
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports% |& D/ I3 b0 o7 p- o7 N
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation+ I  I0 K, i& u$ _, {4 V
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
! |$ D* n( z; O: _' {5 v§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times3 x6 P+ E! z' Z2 y7 [' g% q
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
" l2 E- z" S- V$ q! Q§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures! |: D& D# K2 x# O
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
7 `2 _3 I  p$ w% _, G  {9 \0 P  `2 u§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk+ ^; z/ b0 ]" }5 y) d# m
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

2 e3 |9 w! Y3 b& ]3 V5 {4 X§ Coordinate and support end user training

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.: X2 \1 a4 m; v+ f2 X4 K. S8 ~

$ U. @% I1 r2 x8 g1 @* ~, E# Y% Q在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
