$ g8 d0 H2 M, d5 dThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

0 M6 ?& \7 w: I/ U3 b3 g3 B/ Q§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
! m1 b7 c# s3 i7 {7 ]& V, o§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
& Z( F! u& A- e$ L3 S§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation, B$ l3 \) O/ S w3 `
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times& U: k S, L3 u
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
3 X; v5 L2 q# w2 S' d) }7 I' i§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Special projects as required

Qualifications: m! E( b6 u7 N0 L, N% J6 {
§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
/ t4 e9 L: D5 V# |- q2 u§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
$ z8 ` y2 {) V; G+ m§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
% T. K$ l+ l7 ~' J% b§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues( }6 M5 R0 i k: U; D& \
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware& A6 ]- }1 g, B" m
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software. k8 | q) S' I' e9 Q
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

* G% u' x, b, t* n IThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. § Manage a stable local IT environment

§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports, i7 o1 }8 Q4 q6 J' z
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation, g/ ]5 J6 D5 S1 n& S1 q
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
) _0 A; J$ `: H N! `' t5 V§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
: @ C7 w& G$ e5 Q% n§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
8 \+ }" c( F* R# t) } Q§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
4 U2 l1 \* V4 h6 l$ {; e§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
