The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.7 {" S) V: y, h

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
6 C4 c$ v( a' k2 V/ n, r§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 9 Q" s$ W; X6 |
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
: [/ w7 H% w1 |§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times* ^/ J1 W) L6 R0 Z8 j, r
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
' ^3 Y# w1 n5 p1 H. E  J4 H§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
. D$ p+ W1 c9 m6 ]) R$ c2 d+ C§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties. @' Y$ O8 o: b) G0 H
§ Special projects as required

Qualifications:
/ G( q' X% Z# C3 q# @1 `6 F§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience1 }- d3 W+ c, [9 b4 v
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision6 l" x! `( V( r$ e8 A% |6 E4 u
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
& Q3 O, x1 K4 ?§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues4 P3 j; J: A# e  c: {
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
  T) F5 S5 V) p4 ~9 `§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software5 ?( Y8 N/ e' P* T# j# L
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

Position Summary:
# t% a) `% |+ L1 \1 W( FThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). ! ]$ _$ O. l+ F" }. K% z" D4 ?, t. Z

§ Manage a stable local IT environment

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports: j; ~! k2 k# K. n
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation8 m, i+ T' w' \1 _: Y1 [) V
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
% M! a: a  _; \§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
& z% l- D, E9 k) ?7 F5 u7 H§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
! y" G  i" w' T8 l# G  S& y& i8 a: t§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
* Z+ p( O6 U0 Y7 [; l5 x3 E§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
8 l6 y; e1 G" E  V& s  ?§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk) N$ U7 e* s3 X* q5 {) b1 |+ o% v
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

§ Coordinate and support end user training% R) x; E. `- E& H/ M
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.
8 s# O- p# `: M2 O6 w& }% h5 P2 v1 t( z
在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
