# _% }1 }7 ^+ w, P: H0 eThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.8 @. r6 R; \1 T* f3 F9 j6 p

" _; B! O3 d6 _$ a+ @; ?§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers8 H9 `, b8 @7 }0 C) t( m6 ~
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
" U0 J9 W7 r4 @0 P+ T6 v§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation+ x6 A7 `5 K: H7 L
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
& e$ |  C: {8 l2 f' E+ h2 g§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
; g) w3 `* a& x§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert+ j# L1 r9 H; i: x+ T+ n
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

Qualifications:
& n' [, U# P5 b  H5 q§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
5 Y/ d* t. ^+ e0 P4 e1 t$ ~* H8 b§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision: L8 D+ Z9 Q% i( e
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
1 U3 b- E) {1 o6 i% w9 ^  R. ~§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues' ?8 `4 v. y; S1 @1 x% B; I4 m
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
* R6 |% [/ n! F§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
# k' n% G  l6 P/ B+ e§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems! `. 2 g* ~6 s; C/ JThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:
" L" b0 N# w* x" O# w§ Manage a stable local IT environment
! H: w! X) g( [* h§ Manage and coach staff in IT group
; c) t: p9 s; b§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support
6 Q7 h& d- T3 u§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives' K  \0 c& p" A$ u: n8 I
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports' o. @- D) o5 n' n& e
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
$ k, T3 d: g+ |2 L9 b§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to1 S% C; F5 k, K6 M2 F$ {9 h6 h- ~
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times' h1 |7 Y; `) z
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
6 j  ~) V, i. U# o- ~2 m' Z§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures) f# C! I* j7 J8 U, |2 h7 J
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan+ z+ [; Z# w; w9 H! H5 J7 G) c( T" i
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
& [# K( O3 }& I6 I§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
) t" }. r$ c# {. y6 {; e) D) V§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management& S2 ^& n$ f0 J. q. s
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance/ s: y8 D  f9 @6 J! c
§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT

" k% y8 E8 t* s2 e' M5 u5 K§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.

. @' D8 I! U# H8 P  N2 [在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
