Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

; M; S& n* k/ u9 D& n8 L( w4 ^Responsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

  |& ~- h3 o2 ^; g' G# T7 JResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

End Result :
Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

9 `* C8 H/ M  k- mAchieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

* _0 i6 I0 K9 X. D! BManaging critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

& _% X6 s$ F6 S3 Q  XEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

2 ~  ^( @  n% Y3 p4 U( @1 x1 p) @Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

* E: J  K, ~2 u& S# M0 b: LPerforming quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

" k8 f; ]$ p! }3 y% y# a, ~; oApplying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Achieved through:

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

Qualifications  
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.
1 m0 h% S) h2 K. ~7 R3 N' T
10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
9 K& c1 U* l* }4 \0 n
5+ years AutoCAD experience.

Registered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.
8 \7 J0 Z) C  M3 T  Z- ]% Z3 K# Z
& K  I6 i# t1 E: B7 }% YExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
