Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

) i) L4 D. g# k% W! d' i5 KResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

7 _! J0 w- p5 Y3 nResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.  
! b% O& `" @8 N# i$ ]+ D Responsibilities  
End Result :
Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

2 A' e( ?9 \, E! z  Q0 _+ XPerforming site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

9 F: s, @( ~2 A! |' V1 e* D- H0 jEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,
% `, c( Z# `, k& Y4 N% h
Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

' C& Q$ ~+ z( i+ \, L9 pApplying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

+ a) a  S! I- v5 s3 |) P6 M; xLeading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

$ Q. ~$ p; [4 g0 V Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.
; Y( ]( Q! ]7 s' E) M
10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
7 L4 W! j- b  v+ ~  R7 d
5+ years AutoCAD experience.
: q9 Y9 x" W/ m0 e+ N, R
5 `2 |! }  n) \0 L" S0 lRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
