$ E& Z% J, V* _/ kSalary:         $40,462 - $56,410 per year, depending on education and experience.

( \( o  C$ C* ~& M6 A' W3 }& c-        facilitate recruitment of participants for the Keshotu Leadership Academy
& r" g7 H' M& @7 l7 |/ m-        conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities

Organize Leadership Training Sessions
-        locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings
2 u  s& P/ {3 U" G-        set up a plan for the span of the project (Jan 08 – Dec 08) for weekly meetings
-        use project proposal to ensure time is spent with all identified areas

Plan and Facilitate identified public events
-        with youth participants

-        work with media consultant to ensure good coverage of project

# h! C# {0 p4 _, x/ c0 h-        attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate
-        create and maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations

-        Be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

Proposal Creation
-        With program manager, create proposals to continue funding of this project.
" C' z0 p- E7 [& `-        Also with program manager, create a logic model for each project with activities; short, medium, and long term outcomes; and indicators

8 G+ x1 W, D8 _( kReports to Funders and Program Manager
-        submit quarterly reports to program manager and timely reports according to requirements of each funder

' q- c+ v5 n! Z, A% cProject Evaluation
-        work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation
  s4 D7 O0 `5 n1 p* o-        include in all interim and final reports, outcome measures using indicators from logic model

8 m9 l* W& T) X7 ~-        excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society
-        demonstrated leadership abilities with youth
& X8 M. E6 p& |# z-        experience with project coordination
-        degree or diploma in human services field
8 C& d; J0 E* N  G; ?+ @8 B# f-        developed knowledge and skills in one or more performing arts
