6 o) M( C. I/ s; S( }Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

8 R" |" ?' _" A4 |' h  VKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
# z5 j! n* I! S' L( J        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
: C" [4 a+ z8 P0 F# P        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
4 Z" P; d  M( b# j0 ~        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
) v8 {' T! S$ c) L3 O  l0 W
QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
. C1 t/ S; r: E4 r2 }•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
1 m  q; K, q8 n/ Z6 E0 z•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
8 Y! {( _3 G" C4 C•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
8 t+ J* P" l7 O! e$ I•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
# V7 W* j  E1 }! X' ?. `9 E, D•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
