* x6 W8 Q. Q6 @1 K5 WReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 X* Z8 H0 A* N6 y        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
1 d9 \- t+ X9 t4 x. }6 F        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
* ?0 Y6 v0 i% R& H5 G: b; p3 X        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
9 D* N6 T$ `4 d! X$ u; e        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

1 E, g# w3 B" p; f* h+ AQUALIFICATIONS:
2 m3 D$ {0 ~. L•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
" S& z) b) \$ C0 d9 t- v' I+ h•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
% y5 o! l1 T: L5 S•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
9 l$ Y9 d2 w2 O4 Q6 V•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
1 h; ^# i$ }4 V, l: S. y) t•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
) d, c' H8 q  h- \3 ^( R- J0 X  R) W( \•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
