9 j6 ]3 v( F- Q8 H" j/ P$ WReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

* r" u! K- j, O8 H0 i  }7 z% F$ TKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
, B0 L6 u7 t, T/ i        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
6 G2 M6 n$ g2 a5 c1 S5 H        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
8 b3 _' ^6 s& N/ P( W( X+ j        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

- [5 Y  ]9 s) G+ e3 z3 s: }  UQUALIFICATIONS:
( E3 k6 l' S9 T/ R0 \9 t" o•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
" Z; c3 _! ^  y* ]& |0 s•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
- X* V& i1 Q3 T" w/ ]5 L' Z•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
' d" J) }4 C' ^) P•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
) F, k8 K& R8 ~. k' w# D•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
1 ^& j1 w9 D" A7 Q: {•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
