Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
& G0 ]2 K- o' w& U) S+ D; ]  [  G Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

# |/ [/ m$ Q* I  |9 TWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

) O2 L2 p! I1 b3 ?% kOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

; e6 O+ Y6 R6 I6 V( g" T0 x: u4 kLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

# g* J& {- L5 ]! Q* W  p) UWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

% U4 h) Y8 k- [# vProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

8 n* a; a( M' }" q! }Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

' z6 b7 j' C5 I' O Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
% b: c; P1 H, A
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
/ k" l. O; t5 n& K" m
Gas industry experience preferred;
: o, K8 w" G5 P$ b; C) q
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

" i8 m! w% y0 k. w# w0 M; x% CStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
