Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
9 N+ @4 S: T+ L& F# B Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;
# k, P8 y+ [* g) x0 t, y
. P& _1 U$ k( \$ P" ?/ d  iOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

) @) t, k2 o, l- X  k" iLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

. ]) N! {  H# T5 M6 z/ l! D% R% yWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
. @: m' `* q- }, B1 XManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

U9 LSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

, u  x( }% v$ X6 R$ x# CAssist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
! @, r- s5 z1 A$ n Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
0 O, {) d; o- d5 V& u
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

4 n2 X/ F9 b# r% B% KGas industry experience preferred;
0 j1 D! v: u+ q' H" ~4 h
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

; U) V* C% v# N# yExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
% ^! X* W, U1 P' T  U* I. N( Q1 p1 ~
" c* u8 V: E5 y# r5 ~Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
