SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
% B9 ]2 A( d# x* B2 \1 PEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
. ?" u, S; o. W# ]/ `operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
2 U0 ^  E0 _+ ithe Store Manager.

9 [$ n# X% p1 g; F• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
& z: v: z/ T. v• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
7 o" _# G  U7 W  H• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
1 J! y  f* l+ A9 g• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
' R! j8 V1 ^4 [& d2 k% o- [( TStore Responsibilities
: n4 ~+ }$ _2 D, M• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
( ]2 _/ c# S' Z• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
( }6 e/ ~5 f( A) I8 j/ o• Protect company assets at all times
  _/ h& {8 X$ k. \+ _- j- _• Close the store (key holders)
; t& B  @% v& b0 c. }• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

0 {  W% L$ Q+ a: E3 K" v• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
( d- R# m# C% x! ^; P• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions
7 N. ~/ s, I/ ]5 {• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
