Job Purpose
+ d& m+ a+ b( a, ^Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
2 ?8 S& t9 E; d8 B" ~that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
% S$ V# C! r8 y* E& Z) kDuties and Responsibilities
- X6 H3 T& |1 l" T6 {, |Customer Service
' H2 l9 k0 F2 t• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
2 p8 z) s) v6 B) N• Assist customers find what they are looking for
7 P' q' J; C+ G/ B3 t3 V• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
- G6 G1 R. |2 y2 K, M2 K• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
/ ^6 Q- {! i7 `/ g2 olooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
2 A1 ^9 P* E& N. O. y• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
1 F. Z) p  {2 ]: y& R1 A! N• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
* ~8 b4 _' E3 k: H$ ?1 M• Protect company assets at all times

4 j! \& r4 ?$ q+ u; f& i& M. E. D• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

+ Y8 S1 \/ W$ M/ P% s• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
# }, b' \5 A- `+ w' N2 h; ^) W; Y4 _• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
3 @; O- F+ @' r2 @: |6 y  d• Good problem solving skills
4 |% V- f. h+ f4 i3 G• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Demanding workload

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
* v0 U- B; ]9 _) n# r• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
9 c0 Y# l* l/ v9 p6 H0 a2 Z3 W/ Z5 `• Standing for extended periods of time
; B0 D6 _3 m& v9 w( \• Comfortable climbing ladders
