% A; K3 p8 k0 f0 YEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
# ~4 A( P' A# ]that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
7 d  X$ ], E' ?' @6 Ycustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
% N% @$ E# {: i$ ~9 a, ^; wthe Store Manager.
+ r3 o8 P6 Z9 V9 j" ]5 BDuties and Responsibilities
' w( \& L* z  ^8 A  K1 I# MCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
" }3 a! n) a( Y/ n: z: F• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
% I9 |. u. m  P2 @! I2 d7 R- l• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
4 h. v5 Y6 r% e9 p$ slooks under 25 years of age
& [% q$ x# V. i4 I# ~Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
2 b& l. v4 C, f  H• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
& P8 e/ B  Y5 o) T$ [• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
+ r! ~' H5 a% Z+ B& S• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
9 O/ n. G4 Z. @! T! d• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
6 [$ d1 Q. V) q+ G: P• High School graduate
- Z7 J. y* W" h0 ^+ N• Criminal record check.
2 b& `$ ]% C' \; w+ |• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
' k2 U. k1 O; `• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions

% K- Y9 W3 M" f4 r2 X! I: Q* [- O• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
/ f3 |. w+ B3 g/ \9 z! h4 M9 ^• Comfortable climbing ladders
