Because the pipe is horizontal, position 0 can not be placed. See figure 2
$ f. m \( e4 U7 U2 J RBecause the maximum bend radius of the heat trace is 2 inches( see note 1), position 5 can not be placed. See figure 2. Then the route of the heat trace can be like figure 3

5/16 *6 = 30/16 almost = 2 inches
