The Desktop Support Team Leader is a supervisory/advisory position that is responsible for the support of the City of Edmonton desktop environment, including geographical support City wide:& H8 z7 T: q- V1 s
; }' k' M7 g8 e6 [9 s5 Z· Supervising a team of technical staff, which will include staff recruitment, setting performance expectations, evaluations, mentoring and coaching.

· Planning, coordinating and allocating staff to ensure effective & efficient support of City desktops., K( V( W- I, ]: f

· Ensuring the Desktop Support Area is meeting /exceeding performance expectations defined in Service Level Agreements, by providing essential metrics for performance monitoring.6 H2 X3 } x" s8 }- _' {1 q, a

· Performing quality assurance for work performed, in response to customer requests.

6 E9 q7 T" Q) h/ N+ `/ w. }7 }· Degree or Diploma in Computing Science from a C.I.P.S. accredited institution.; |1 A7 C! z4 j3 z; D$ c- z
% A* S: Y& U5 L' ~% q· Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work in systems development that would include supporting a desktop environment.2 I1 h/ v2 X! J* ?& @) r

· Experience in supervision, leading,and managing a team of technical experts is essential.1 D3 H! k0 K6 q9 L% o+ C& q

SALARY RANGE:. |7 H0 [5 i- D0 u: V
7 v; P3 a3 c/ J; v" u \$ J; l& S21M, Salary Grade: 038, $37.02 - $46.76 (Hourly), $2,498.99 - $3,156.37 (Bi-Weekly), $65,223.51 - $82,381.19 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
