Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors/ G! j1 v F) r% G; w. _
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
# W5 F9 {4 P. \6 |" G, s, yCreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
& R, k- {+ k- ?Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment$ `1 l- M# J$ ~% q) d
Qualifications
1 M8 w. P+ N: @" xB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered! m4 R1 H3 ~1 } S- b4 B
Several years related experience in a similar environment
, R6 j( _/ I: D* k0 I( d1 V4 rKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
2 O% S7 l1 O# j, GKnowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset5 R% ]" Z, R% W# c
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
