Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
" p) U3 t) A7 z+ ]2 BManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
7 S: j/ h% N* W0 @Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
6 s" c6 w2 |) _" Z) ?3 g2 WŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
& w& D: g9 L8 u; ximplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
$ ~) `. I2 H% m4 L" W6 fŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
- p+ m0 ], D8 R' s: T9 HŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
8 T) J" h3 }" s3 d4 W7 \; H! HŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
& a2 j- N0 }+ D5 d" Jeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
2 q' D3 W! D' ]Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
0 W6 V- ^4 ~& fŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.

# u; A1 T0 f' [! c. `" @& s3 e4 [$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
0 a3 ^/ r5 b( \8 V: X% g+ _* y8 B' AIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
; m  }( d5 r6 ?% g; [. Gsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
