Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
9 l. \3 b: z/ n% w2 W, n+ cThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
% ]. P% X/ g- p+ ]5 Q) QŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
: ?0 C% P% i, D* t! zthe organization;
# |& _3 f8 Y+ S- v9 V6 M9 nŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
9 ?9 ^) G: y$ o' X  ZŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
, H2 I4 B  A7 C6 y3 KŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
! K$ L9 Y' R/ |8 `% G8 {Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
% {6 C) m! e2 F& UŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
' o! J* ?' v- P$ FŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
" v# z% E( o3 u8 p) s0 wŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
5 V" V' I4 e' I- Q( @& s6 m8 V; c6 Keducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
+ \- h  X2 {0 N8 ^Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
2 g) f  l- I. DLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
