Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
% j4 g- e" q- a" PManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
: E2 h4 o9 ]4 h9 Z  ]ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
6 T; R- e6 H9 C* _: L1 H1 tThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
0 q3 Y- f) ]" ?; X9 u, {Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
6 f. U+ e% A! ~7 w- qŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
' r8 \( B3 n2 n1 }) G0 yimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
+ `! \8 _, n1 l+ _, v/ S9 SŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
! @" {3 t" J" p; s/ L0 O6 tverbal and written.
$ L4 A0 z& S: c9 \( PLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
- d( b3 o3 m1 Z; p$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
' u( M% W! m) F& k/ g* L. gIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
