Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
- u7 B5 R, x. P7 k* ~  CThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
; j, K: M! K6 u5 t: ]5 V1 tŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
' Q$ M9 e8 _: i# uthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
7 p9 ]" [+ r9 m' VŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
6 [4 v0 I3 c- t/ A1 RŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
/ M4 f* J$ ]+ QŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
6 y7 j- A! A! @/ ueducation and experience;
& k1 u! Z* D, E' Z& I9 ~% m& R* i: }Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
5 M- C1 d5 a8 C- O6 `6 ]Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
5 N( I! p7 k) @3 y- Z9 Y" zŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
9 F, C+ D+ _- m, R3 U9 `& Everbal and written.
( A4 \$ V8 F$ f. V: qLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
! t, }' X, y/ lIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
