Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
+ Y9 f( n. K7 I# {% AManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
9 M, Q  T" H* Z- {7 {. H" wThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
9 c2 m  Y( q# u) r! T% ~: yŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
8 M0 r* q, w; P) [, _: M' J% C5 Q1 pimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
: X8 q# |* g+ rŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
& j- p8 T8 c2 [Ÿ Other duties as required.
. O( C- A) d6 bQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
& i2 ?/ Q( d. {! k/ H2 Yeducation and experience;
! }0 r* f6 x' O) R( E: a" f; H1 F. ZŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
$ n9 `5 x8 X2 G- Y) O% n8 f" MŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
# m  J7 N' Z9 ?! A' x$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
