9 Z7 }/ Z2 P/ [* c2 bAn engineering start-up, which is committed to support the R&D and industrialization of process technologies in North America with expertise and international resources, now accepts applicant for the position of Mechanical Engineer /Specialist through Industry r&D Associates program, Alberta Ingenuity.

Major Responsibilities:
( d% F1 x0 Y+ A$ t- r. z* O; d•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
0 ^. @1 [9 h8 V. l•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
# d- c: a: B) ]•        Others.

Qualifications:
$ H+ n/ N2 i* ]8 C  V$ o•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
3 g7 ~3 C3 \' P8 K! d•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
4 n! @( Y9 X" n$ m9 X2 u•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

) W+ U  w# ~9 g6 \+ z4 t/ aCompensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
