6 i# y. Z6 g! k•        Process research equipment design;
2 o; Q$ J8 |, [5 l& n4 {- ^6 t•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
& a! Q; b, n3 ?7 k! M' {•        Others.

! F8 ?& }3 q, n) |0 hQualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
& s1 s1 q0 R* s# ~" `0 \  c; i•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
/ k8 U3 q: }; P& {! L•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
; j, j$ s4 W7 m; P& P! n+ FSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
