• Process research equipment design;

• Equipment fabrication guidance;9 s- ^4 F% T/ @2 I7 A. S
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;- c; I1 _ o4 s9 l. v. v# ?0 l

0 j$ U _% y4 h% \, LQualifications:& `6 p4 d, a# m# h5 O* t% M
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
& t+ v! g. ~/ ~- c+ k; x• Equipment design experience is required;" E/ m8 A! g/ f. F2 W' I; g# g
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;1 H; [& [( M: N m2 I
• Familiar with CAD software;& H* x0 t) a4 A; k
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;4 z# ^6 e' `# X. @, V. |) D, k
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:& E0 o* B1 P& z
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. ; j$ ?! Z5 Q% U) U+ F9 J/ _& W
