/ p2 u0 D" c/ C  U0 WMajor Responsibilities:
& O6 b" K& u; l•        Process research equipment design;
; C+ Y. c( ], O; ^/ c•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
6 c5 @4 S8 X: j3 V% D% b& w2 {•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
; H" }( Y( I' T# }# ]. o•        Others.

8 Z& |! r) [1 k" j& ^7 Z/ hQualifications:
* q% i& A8 E5 ^4 B+ |0 l4 @•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
" N6 @: ]5 G2 I* P# l•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

+ c# O6 `8 ?" F5 a1 Z7 e' PCompensation:
3 A8 k2 ?6 L) j4 {/ S  _/ TSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
