* h- G, C' K- ]2 ^. XTagbaema Society is a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of outreach
& V( S* j% B! {( {8 Y) K# ]7 c+ Hservices to families and technical assistance to ethno-cultural organizations in managing 9 m* q' X, Y5 B, f' Z2 q5 H
their development.
& D; v0 ^% U V+ E ) j+ [8 N# X2 G: p5 b& j
Tagbaema is looking for two young and energetic individuals who would like to get first
3 K& `6 B+ D& u z% Ohand experience, assisting with the development and implementation of the Youth
& w5 x3 ^, `# |+ e% {& REmpowered to Succeed: A Push for Better Future Project. Your role will be to establish a 3 `9 l5 @" f9 ~4 I4 n- [
youth steering committee and coordinate its activities. You will also be directly involved , ^1 R( H7 X4 D; x O8 J
in the implementation of the project and will work on our productions and activities. You
) H- ?: v. z! }are expected to perform some administrative tasks including marketing upcoming events, 8 m6 Z- q) K) G+ z3 V
balancing budgets and making arrangements for future events. You will report and be
" D; Z1 _7 b$ d6 C# h8 n% M/ F( faccountable to the project coordinator. 8 X" W& s1 W, I; O$ l3 L
& \* I- M& T: P( mThe youth leaders will be needed about 18 hours a week, with hours flexible to own 1 g" H4 V% j1 |" [ `" K
schedule but will include some evenings and weekends. A commitment of 1 full year is 0 c& U5 T( B5 A# |2 q! e/ B4 p
desirable. ) E# p, ~4 d2 k9 w8 d

Qualifications $ s4 a( y6 Y" y( _% y
18 – 21 years old with good personal and teamwork skills
* ?3 d% f2 x. N* h& X4 |" n* qKeen ability to organize and lead
4 N$ X! a4 B2 V/ \% `Regular attendance at meetings
6 ^: u# F$ V& tRelate well with other youth and adults
/ M( [3 q! O- GWilling to be mentored and trained
