The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 8 A$ y7 p) s" a7 r5 j% k5 I

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.: D3 S* \3 C5 g, W

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:
& r% Z* Q2 V1 {0 B" r• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
, e, a8 u# P3 y1 D. _• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads9 a! V) J0 w' K2 x g5 ]
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits% H0 ~ g/ r( e- J
• Input and manage high volume of data
, p6 M3 n7 M5 n• Update and maintain databases3 V5 n. b# [2 f6 U
• Generate monthly reports and statistics) A! d7 t/ o3 G2 Q
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation6 p9 ?: a5 ~/ l$ F, w7 f l, d
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
, ]/ }* Z2 H/ U O• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
5 x K, f' D" J; Y9 ]; M• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
: b" L" v* u6 b• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
/ ]$ G* N! L, ?• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients( [, ^$ Y, F( N+ Q/ E- b$ l" S

Qualifications:! v: ]" G/ ^" r2 I' q& a# x0 J; C4 B0 Q- O

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
* g- r; i1 v2 P! J( g2 o7 ^• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS . B3 j) _9 G( a; G5 f
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
G# f% U4 ~' B$ i- `0 A/ q• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work# s- N* e$ j2 @; H: |% k
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population& D4 L; n; k, \; |" K
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
