The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team., O* }( D# f( ~* ?- s* o( n

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required: r) K0 ~( z& E& _$ a' B
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
- g& i- S- v% ?3 C9 W7 V+ q. e8 s• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits8 j: k. q( e. m. V$ L
• Input and manage high volume of data
: L# ]: }2 C1 _• Update and maintain databases: y* }* }$ P& l* r( h* p; z
• Generate monthly reports and statistics* m# J5 l8 C& r9 j0 Y- _" n
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
9 P7 W! s8 X% q; G; Q) l• Process payments and complete weekly deposits0 F8 A, M7 {! w' _, J: M
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
! {8 \: c" V) ~" U8 H F. ~• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors3 ?2 Y0 x. _; g4 i$ \% w$ d5 E$ f/ h
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre- O: R1 p p7 g! b z& v8 R' _+ M5 p
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients+ c2 t4 Y C' @. ~, A- G' w2 \

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure5 p: p$ U1 K; l. u
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
- o+ A+ k% O5 ?8 w% C• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong customer service skills
