The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ( ]$ {, j) x4 y8 r! N. \2 E5 V) G

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team. Y5 M0 z8 s/ R Q$ t

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
V; Y5 }5 F' E( K, [• Answer multi line telephone system8 n4 w7 v' i# J% U

Administration:
/ H5 e! ~6 V4 p8 t( s9 I' \• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads1 ^! m f+ y9 s
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits9 q9 Z2 k4 o. j- I2 w& i5 J
• Input and manage high volume of data
% `% Q! s+ B: v# q% Y• Update and maintain databases1 g" P6 T3 N+ k$ P
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
* @: ]6 y( [* _* D1 Z• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation3 @& W- l) k( ~# z" j- g
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits/ w' |' l/ b( y2 ~9 S+ a
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
$ `( l# w9 B# {$ }' }: d9 h• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
! k) g+ C2 C! A/ c• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

Qualifications:

1 y1 n" ?8 F' ^1 s• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
: ?9 b$ r7 y: f$ _) G• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS

• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work* G, E7 l h$ h- m; i( H [
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population1 G4 a6 \0 W& W Y3 u' F, h3 u
• Strong customer service skills4 R! Q9 T' _4 h4 ]# j
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
