The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. " Y' D" w# `: P- |) k, M
: s. q# p6 b+ j9 c( q$ r% GThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.& R' ?( T% G" _' j$ b8 w7 [) g

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:+ R7 X; z- Q1 C: m0 f! M* e7 w3 W
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
$ ~3 \: L* a% X& B) _4 O! o' l• Answer multi line telephone system) R+ H9 H6 h' E/ ]& c1 @6 W8 C
, d6 }# A0 Z" h: W8 j7 B5 X( PAdministration:! C- O8 t+ ~: O0 _
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
" n# j6 M" n2 r) M• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
. Q5 H8 N( h( ^/ J# P8 P2 T• Input and manage high volume of data* D5 B) z" }% S* g, o4 Q8 h
• Update and maintain databases
/ z/ Q9 Z1 f- ?! F% @8 p• Generate monthly reports and statistics
. w+ K# W! T4 V8 ~• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation( y5 h7 W' G, F' G4 [
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits% s" x, a P' b7 W5 @3 Z, s
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms) x' D! n" k; |4 R, o2 X
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors6 [( Q% k0 Q( m8 S( {
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre" {- ?9 p2 q, Q$ j
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients) F% I, |% i( e3 Y

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
% [1 v. A) J& s• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS & a' @9 ~# M0 \( _
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills7 q& q; ^# f, y% T0 `$ l- h
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work7 I7 r9 b' b7 T. i' p, q; f7 \
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population" {- [7 U8 w2 A" _0 A* x! f; I
• Strong customer service skills
