The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:$ \3 e: \; H+ j/ `" d8 O* W: L
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required" e* w3 q m+ ?
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads& Z* B; |2 A+ o$ l# p. ~
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits* c" R# q& r1 v l
• Input and manage high volume of data) I. ?, ?( K4 s8 U
• Update and maintain databases
: q' {9 ?! I* `+ _" {$ c• Generate monthly reports and statistics
. R- l* L9 f0 Z1 x" G2 j7 h• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation/ R1 _' {/ V' C4 W+ e, j$ {& L' {
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
9 E6 H2 C; m# ^• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
. x; \' l& [- f! _: c• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors! F- l* I! @+ n
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre+ o5 T8 i0 d9 Q s7 R# U
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
! U1 k I" x+ k6 N) }
, \7 j1 i) g9 A$ o• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure4 `5 i- N* T% a" C9 I
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
0 G1 _( \! o' \• Excellent verbal and written communication skills- A$ N! ^& }" m- m
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work4 Q1 L5 n7 S' G/ }% V, X* S" j# W2 V
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
5 A5 I6 n' v( j8 o• Strong customer service skills. Y! X: o* g" J, a: `6 r! Z
• Strong organizational skills and abilities4 P3 R5 W' u' M, W! B4 ?
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset8 S0 V( F/ ^* N' @' b
