The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

" w- u' V! ^! h. ^This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

8 G$ }% [- ]# b! n• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required x( h, n) g( \+ F" |5 d- k
• Answer multi line telephone system/ n! ~4 [- p: L; W! Z: M1 K
) x2 t/ T) d6 R: Y
Administration:% y# c I& Q* x7 }
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads% Y1 W/ L: X# ~/ z$ f
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits1 L: r8 `4 Y8 X7 i4 g. o5 N+ M0 o+ _/ D
• Input and manage high volume of data8 t2 }. Q! Q" ]% P$ h
• Update and maintain databases8 A% z, E- y6 ^) W7 t3 r" Y" y) c
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
! Z' k2 P: ?* d7 ?5 ]- D• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
: D+ K( k3 |0 L# @5 W( s- l! {% [% k$ o• Process payments and complete weekly deposits3 z' B; Y$ S% n8 ]8 j# s
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
# M4 t# B* a3 x# T8 Q- a• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
# |* g/ M2 E. M! y4 p• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
+ [ r, x& J) V, |• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients+ ], j S2 ^2 M7 z8 U k# k

Qualifications:
' s2 r: H' U6 B0 C5 q# K: C8 f! N* c1 W
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
/ ]8 B6 ~; P+ r5 }• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 5 v/ e& A9 G3 q( ]
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* {" L" @, c# ~0 c" N: j• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
: _/ s" ?& s$ o+ y* N8 P• Able to interact positively with a diverse population `( }+ t; k4 O
• Strong customer service skills
$ Y! p9 ]) J# S! I+ D9 f# i2 d- F& G• Strong organizational skills and abilities x$ D# K; C8 t
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
