, h' m9 k. I" _8 s Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
0 x9 z3 N) _. R1 w, D, m Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
  L6 y; c9 U- ?6 u, i. y0 d% f% S1 q Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
% W8 c- U& v$ `, l2 {6 r$ S5 E Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
6 z% Z8 @1 _; b  d, Q- j: C Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

  \+ c, N6 X! t  j: V6 B Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
5 e1 p/ Y( p) n; C: n Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
) o+ ]- O3 {/ A" @! f& R: D Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
( W, Y' J2 d7 h' R; S3 [8 U: N0 nThere is a 3-month probationary period.
