 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
0 n$ n( M2 }$ O* @ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
0 I! `- C. K  K9 ]! m* V Completing required paperwork.
) d/ H. [/ ^7 D: I/ s Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
6 h3 [4 {+ m* T, _' e+ ] Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
& \- e0 X- R. y Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
: M% B1 y: @. g  M/ U3 [8 U! s) k4 X Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
8 w# q1 q% ]0 s9 ?+ H
: @! M3 ]" W7 ] Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
& |% d! {1 W1 b9 I+ s; q% ~ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
1 j$ u6 k7 ^. G Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
