Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
, }& E0 r. \/ I! M4 }. |■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
0 B) k9 e; h. n7 i: J6 u+ c# v■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
" S. C1 M2 G: g; M. P5 {2 N9 mExperience and Education:
, n9 o' U8 X, _6 b) Q* P■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
* e* `. A1 O0 }, h■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
) }+ W/ J; X' W■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
