■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.' n- r- q B0 ?0 y5 p! n% ^1 e& |
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.2 w7 w) Q9 V: e0 H2 L
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships$ D/ c% x) ^: K
Experience and Education:
9 X- R; P( \# V/ g■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
H% A, D7 S8 j; |! V. p■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.3 x: X: q0 ^9 n/ w
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.: N7 R* f3 M$ A' C
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
. W8 Z! G/ L* `1 H& b; _2 M# K■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
4 U _$ _9 R* z* [■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.% o/ e' } \# K u; R" f$ ^: m
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.6 {& D' E, \% R: P, f6 ]
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
