移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。
$ j4 ]6 ]3 i0 s1 u; c- E前几天突然想起明年3月现在的护照就过期了
7 y  u7 z) p+ Y  ^( h# v请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。
这个是具体要求：

Passport Requirements:

We require an original VALID passport for yourself and every accompanying family
2 V; I( d1 b. [& w8 Dmember. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted
7 W0 x  Y5 N5 Q4 x# n' R0 D; k5 `2 ctogether.
& ], `  c+ z: y$ k# X' h  l
1 C3 Z- [2 Q! E5 FThere must be at least two blank visa pages in each passport.

* n7 a  C5 q" X- IIf there are children included in your passport there must be visa pages for them as well.

Please note: Immigrant visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
