Duties
2 Z$ l5 _5 R& x- h# t+ e1 qAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
/ r6 `8 m& N9 [- d7 `0 o$ L/ J5 P7 C# wProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
* [5 w. z5 ^# Q' T6 i0 ^5 `Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
% G8 n4 l/ `+ M! p! R& NPerforms related tasks as needed; |+ I4 W+ q. `/ W# j1 ^
Qualifications) N& z& L, ]0 S+ y; D# J o6 X# _+ }$ V
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred4 l n5 r2 d9 j/ g& {1 ]
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
3 h! \" w$ ]/ o$ mSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset8 @. q; Z y, e1 u- i" v. }
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred6 ^, X: N" v6 o7 { F" G
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
