) m$ l f+ I$ N: J2 d2 n3 N# rAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)8 Z4 G Q, O4 n, o; ^
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required

Qualifications3 @* Y# q% P; K9 W/ {+ r- A
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred( x* q3 y3 \# j9 w# g) `3 T
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred5 x. j( M1 a6 ~* U8 m9 g
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
* i* m2 q- W2 g) bKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred( j D# Q% O6 a) W( U' B/ V
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
* J6 F& n* \; VRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
