Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)$ D5 H3 {' F4 M. X, H
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required1 c. ?8 G3 I( r( h! v0 W
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed: X& m5 O1 m" O* @5 P2 |+ B% l4 j

* l L* R- [4 k4 B8 C4 M# jDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
, ?( _2 B9 b& ?Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
; D* t- w+ h- c( v3 qSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset. O: v) g5 c5 O0 l+ ^+ w
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
