Duties
' n+ \0 h/ `! L c6 O7 c5 FAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)' `$ e6 u, ]) x! U: {$ U
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required. @4 c& q' G. _1 W3 ~, t$ }+ P
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed# x8 [2 b F: @, J; s3 a* T9 p
Performs related tasks as needed, T5 _3 Q, N2 z2 M2 h
Qualifications
4 i( ]/ h0 S( G& a( kDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
5 h" _6 J1 Z% wDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred J0 h8 u# w- D" {5 w1 {
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset! R& M) C* b, j& ?/ M" G
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
