7 h* o5 D- r' v" \, g: M% `1 J: ADelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
3 _3 }- g4 X! Z# _Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
& n' D' I) W# c; _, m7 ?0 IEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
( [7 N7 K& G  L. J: b" Z+ l' d/ [. S7 JOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
( x7 N2 u. k7 kPerforms related duties as required

5 V; W; A/ k; ^+ j7 k0 {Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
. p& Y0 d3 e! `Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
Forklift operating certificate
