 Proactively and independently develop initiatives in ethno-cultural communities that 7 F [4 N, @$ j- U9 d1 U9 x+ I# b: {
increase their capacity to participate fully in the community
, n5 a( i- P; ^9 W/ d+ |+ o Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders. 4 L% C" d; m. M3 I& P
 Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation# t/ a+ K2 x9 ]) |
 Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals, E( H/ D( V+ T- H
 Facilitate group processes and workshops / C: }, j$ C' z. b: y! ~5 i7 b0 ^
 Advocate for systemic changes that foster full participation of newcomers in the community7 j' u3 a; j' H6 I8 X

 Experience supervising staff1 N! x2 x1 s) x/ e, ~0 i
 Understanding of cross-cultural issues1 e3 k. M5 F- M! j2 {
 Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing skills

Education/technical skills 5 F2 {+ h R/ Q: e

8 U& j" Y6 t" Q5 c3 x% \ Experience/facility with Windows-based computer systems (specifically Windows 95/98/2000, MS Office, MS Word, databases, spreadsheets etc.)

Salary range starts at $34,195.
