Lynn Gregory, vice-president of the Capilano Community League, was surprised to hear about the ongoing homicide investigation.

“We get the odd B-and-E and car theft around here, but other than that, not too much (crime),” she said.& M+ o l7 G1 x# V3 N9 h5 J

The slain woman, whose name has not been released, is the city’s 24th homicide victim of 2010.
