• supports foreign-educated engineer and engineering technologists, and

What is the practice?

English as a Second Language.

• engineering-related training delivered at NAIT:

graduates.
! m( _3 @. T' xWhat is the evidence of success?
: f- M: \" Z+ g' V* _As of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have
( e. B3 B& G e u5 n% t, t# S/ V4 ofound engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.
, I) C" u. v' ]7 X% G$ e# E7 HIn 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
; x9 U( K* q, }$ `graduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,
4 J! ]6 A5 [- O9 m, j$ D% ewith over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.6 |* e( k& Q7 K5 b9 ]- R% Z
