Here in Canada, walls are well over R20. So, even if the exterior walls are hot under sunlight, it won't really affect interior living space. ! \8 ?$ o2 g7 [ , n& q9 d; g- yHowever, windows have lower R factors and allow UV radiation (and radiation of other frequency) to enter the house. So, it's best to upgrade your windows, if radiation (i.e. sunlight) is a potential problem. Typically, you can upgrade your windows to triple pane, with sun-stop coatings on both sides.
