Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team0 X: Z& G8 q' o t& O! C/ @0 Q
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal/ {- @- k3 W9 q- S! D0 n9 G
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
& Q% q, X4 U, B- W* W
8 L' r' A) W: j4 M# l5 I" O* QTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.' U4 v4 ?& f5 O6 c# V% F
* e8 [6 s6 d7 e0 f# x6 wJob Qualification
: z @- p1 u g; s! XMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
' |- ]# r' n5 |0 G, ~! q G5 C/ p9 NMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s; y7 G E+ U3 B! {% u) T
School)
9 b$ w0 q6 w2 q* j& B- ]5 {Must have supervisory experience
# k `7 T3 }" }/ `9 zMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
; s1 Q: U! | y2 Q x- eMust be computer literate. B+ r) `, h3 a
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
; L! ?" f) y/ ]8 H& YMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network

Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already- v+ H: Y& a5 m" l/ H
