Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
6 G1 q# u* K: ? v( Rplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
5 g" I7 X/ F& g- N. AMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).2 s8 ^% I) W& L" }
1 B$ b9 b8 S& [; h/ e' R; }To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

, A2 n8 D1 R8 E$ ]; g+ `Job Qualification. o% n3 }$ |/ o3 A
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services- A' K0 x. Z2 }. N0 e' e5 s+ m6 J9 n
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
q; E3 U4 I. `9 P/ }4 k1 WSchool)
& J- _/ k# m0 v6 ?5 y# O3 `3 cMust have supervisory experience
( k7 P$ e: d9 H4 X, f8 y3 H8 V' X& QMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system- e3 w6 G `" m% Z
Must be computer literate
[2 R# [- h& U7 H9 n# PMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.6 K, _7 C* }1 V* B
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
1 W$ ?+ p Q- N6 `" x z/ hMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
" n" J/ d/ Z6 R) k- tMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
" S1 \& _/ H" | mestablish team.
