1 y$ S, \1 a' x, UUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team: s6 M' [ e* M/ Q6 Q2 {- Q. ^
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
1 | g4 Y! g, a% _Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).% J; Z. C7 E% F% a8 s5 a% h7 e5 {# f
/ N/ `! o# N1 G7 W9 @2 U
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.0 ?* Z: Q9 k; N* S( U) a

Job Qualification3 j& W: u8 M+ f: B _. F
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services _$ c8 I5 ~2 ?
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s2 ?/ H! ^; O: F2 ]1 c N
School)* ?" Q- J2 G( q9 }+ e6 N6 m# F
Must have supervisory experience9 I9 q0 {1 ?" o
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: f' x, S' E: _8 B2 [Must be computer literate
. l" K( I( i4 K& g+ v" {$ mMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
0 P$ p* ~* Q7 q! m2 PMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network2 P4 \" W# O* G: Y* r, n
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
