- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
& h( ~* p7 v6 M9 z% D2 a: C- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
4 ?! ?4 q1 p0 v. T- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP( }1 z* |2 J0 ^, P
- provide support to ISP staff! l; [9 e/ x& G0 J$ O( ^# \) W
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members, c9 R0 r6 W& v* v4 Y( [* R
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
5 G9 i' v0 H# h/ z- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
4 N3 ]$ [2 M" P$ [$ _) t8 h x O4 u- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants' C* j/ p& W8 i/ G9 }
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals; |" x7 y7 s, r2 n" E' i6 Z
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder3 Q$ Z5 t4 j* T- b1 [( }* W
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.% o4 x5 |; h: h% ]/ |
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications3 \: a& {$ _: m& |; H
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
; S4 v, D/ p7 q( O& J. x" W- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available- ?! t& t; J* R4 x$ e# M
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
* T6 {. Q2 F9 P, {- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software) r. V8 d1 j, K$ ~/ H$ g4 \
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
