- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information1 w3 R; a' E& D# L+ R" ?0 [
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
4 s/ [# K, S: `3 \1 V- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP

- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members

- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
5 f8 w2 z; k( q$ w# E- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants5 c# c, U/ ~) y& y* x5 C: h: n
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals

- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications; @& s6 z7 k. a
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
8 m3 Y/ i) b# ?" Y- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available9 S. m: n$ [+ u; Y
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers* _0 i# N, e$ H; N6 h; p; p/ \
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- D" h+ m8 _* O2 ~- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)' D- t& c7 c8 l# c7 m
- good interpersonal and people skills

- valid driver’s license
