Edmonton man accused of sexually assaulting children

An Edmonton man who operated a north-end daycare is facing numerous charges in connection to alleged sexual assaults against children at his daycare that span over 11 years.

$ r3 K8 I. j' A5 s5 A. Q6 q3 @Walter Edmund Nash, 60, and his wife had operated Montrose-area daycare, but the license was revoked back in 2002. Yet police say the couple continued to operate an unlicensed day home until late 2010.

The 60-year-old is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.

& i' o3 e5 D, b  M8 D+ t) ]. eThe charges come from four victims, all of which were girls ranging in age from three to seven-years-old. The first allegation was brought forward in 2001, and police say the most recent allegation was brought to their attention in December of 2010.
