Edmonton man accused of sexually assaulting children

$ a0 A8 h! c+ Z, k+ SAn Edmonton man who operated a north-end daycare is facing numerous charges in connection to alleged sexual assaults against children at his daycare that span over 11 years.

2 K0 |; K1 i) v# q5 o2 RWalter Edmund Nash, 60, and his wife had operated Montrose-area daycare, but the license was revoked back in 2002. Yet police say the couple continued to operate an unlicensed day home until late 2010.


. W" x% s" j% K0 N+ A4 EThe 60-year-old is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.

2 j& {% C/ r; n) W7 [The charges come from four victims, all of which were girls ranging in age from three to seven-years-old. The first allegation was brought forward in 2001, and police say the most recent allegation was brought to their attention in December of 2010.
