Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
$ X P3 t4 t O: q ~* a" D- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
/ @( M5 N1 z2 N0 A- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.8 l9 B! - Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.7 }. c8 l$ n. E# I: d
