Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
0 }( p8 h- V% s& i7 S# O# U$ ?- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
Y5 |) B, `" i0 t# z6 n9 p- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.& W- {0 R# i4 V' K! A
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
