Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
9 X4 M* u. J* H4 Q# K, e! @3 F. }- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
0 R/ [! x2 Z( X- i0 [1 C- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.& B' x+ z, q7 X4 `3 s
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.; [% A2 X8 a" G, G; S+ c7 ` j1 ]
