Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:) J; c9 G7 H6 [$ L- h7 y
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;' ~3 y( h2 v( \% k
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.' x- M1 U( [' N! [' \) |! U
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
