The Position

# [/ y, U- R$ B/ Z. @3 Zskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
% V) Q+ Q1 \0 ~Duties and responsibilities
General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
1 ~7 C" G3 u0 `- ~2 S" H6 a• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
4 M/ a, R+ U" R* a, ^• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
development, distributes and files same
• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
% Y7 T6 z# y# V( {• Archives files
- v  q' E/ O. i• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
6 q4 Z* g8 r! M# \2 F, V, ~5 j• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
1 q9 t: @5 f& B8 T" I+ ?• Appointment and meeting scheduling
& Q4 Y' B9 s) K7 |; ?• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
# |+ K* `- ]: T/ @# I& X( y• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office

8 r  [6 _  O% w. Y6 L) W7 B• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
required

8 U  S6 ^' y# c2 N0 A' h• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
/ T1 U. C2 e/ z& e- Z1 U• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
3 Z( Z5 L+ [9 D7 VQualifications
; E  v- F0 I: N) x2 c" l8 i7 W• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
! i  W0 n# I& i7 D* m" o5 v• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
5 M7 X0 T. Y  i6 ^0 p: i2 ]software (Income Manager)
• Ability to flex time as required

  R, p" b; l- E: N! a• Requires personal vehicle

• Part time – 24 hours per week.

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
8 Z6 O6 [) d/ x5 |) ~Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
3 X/ y! M  D; M* Q/ fMission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.
Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
developing a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
organizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
and warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
