The Position

1 G. K( z" W: F4 y1 Iskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
Duties and responsibilities
General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
5 W$ l. h& Q+ f: N5 h5 X• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
8 L9 \5 J$ H* w% W• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
9 ~- m' a4 Q- xdevelopment, distributes and files same
3 s1 [5 x) Y. H& {) B. ]• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
  X& w0 ^/ ]/ ]/ g. L  h• Archives files
• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
5 \- k- t6 w9 K: I* C$ J5 v: u% R• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
• Assist in planning and preparing for special events

• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as

Accounting
$ L$ _( o( h9 G8 c. w4 O* z4 B• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
- e2 E/ A3 L5 z- y6 Z• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
+ M) m' o" b. u! ?, v3 Y2 JQualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
9 H# s: A2 D# q3 ]• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)
• Ability to flex time as required

Hours of Work

7 I. e: C2 l- b- v: DCommunity Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.
Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
developing a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
2 O4 d5 S+ v; Forganizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
$ K7 D9 @- x: \' m3 K- X' b$ J2 aand warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
