Position:        Youth Leader

Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
! T, w2 h( T1 E, }Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
* f+ p4 I( S0 u$ c- g( \, _7 o0 I- }*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

4 W/ j/ K( @  N. EDuties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
+ P. ^& U; C. C+ r8 L Provide positive modelling to youth
7 d# y" P1 j; a2 E/ S, q5 i3 ~ Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
& P3 i3 E. X! g: U Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
3 Y' T8 L* Y& Y3 v2 N! _6 m1 F Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
; j$ x7 o# F$ Z, V1 J- _# l3 G Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
+ z0 s% g. q  S A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
6 o- r- j" t, v( P! \$ ?2 a- H Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
) Q' X+ a' l2 W% B/ e3 k Able to work independently with minimum supervision
; r8 r  c1 k" K Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
% u6 s/ p; m3 K! \& \) a$ L Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
- }7 Y/ `6 C) \* K Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
