Position:        Youth Leader

Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
+ Y) U# P* r/ i4 M& Z2 x/ X4 k: NTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)

. B  r8 h9 H6 H- |To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
: J+ l% z2 t7 Q  V) O+ q% N( e
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
) k: g% ~% z- O* g9 i. @ Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
. ~% t# `* v0 O9 j Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
4 a; @1 Z: t8 p" y/ X' l Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
! |: {, m, ^/ S9 |: V Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
9 x' Z" U9 H- ? Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
( \; s. t3 w1 p: S1 D Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
, F% S3 \8 b' w- I) ~ Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
# ?% n# [5 x" I  n3 ~ Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
0 f. H  l- V" S6 x8 L  Z A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
, [, |6 C2 ^) y: D( p Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
8 N( L, Z% S2 _7 D* U( w  e) o Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
* c* `( Q* e5 S* ]. A Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
) C; z2 A$ ?; ?# s1 S0 h  U$ w Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
