Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
$ e) v+ W$ w6 T. X* zCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
" t0 {% X3 \3 {) l, ^: dTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

- ?' x  s+ ^. u% I2 eDuties:
* G& `; V# i6 z( D# |! |To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
8 `( ~8 m% R  m$ B4 E Take attendance if available
8 g1 g5 h+ A0 O. N+ y8 M0 a Provide positive modelling to youth
/ v) r6 e0 w3 A8 ]9 i  T Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
7 A, a, v- v8 s$ j  i1 s Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
8 ^$ _# ~7 ~/ R3 J% p4 ?' s( V7 ~ Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
, G( q3 n* t+ T4 H* A4 I% }  ` Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
4 y' l7 [: z7 O8 t8 A9 O Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
6 i% ^1 Z% U$ z# I" z6 y Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
7 i% h5 t9 d% C Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
, S8 g' P  a) E& W Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

- ?  e5 Z$ Q( s! P Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
, P5 V% x: F2 h! F2 Y Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
3 t! h1 ]: w2 d Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
4 ?" ^0 T" j6 v, L Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
