The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
$ u: r; p# Q* x- W* V3 o• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
) e3 k+ ~3 M% i8 @• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
. o! _$ a1 g. s• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

3 ]% f0 M: A" ZMinimum Qualifications:
  v6 L( N( I5 Y$ @& r- Y4 lEducation
$ b. S9 @& P' j& _9 c• Completion of a high school diploma
% P% o* y9 H, M( t8 V- g• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
0 K3 @$ b5 Y9 `7 aTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
& J4 {* f+ m: L! L) S• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
" s% e- q3 m, N5 x. A) b0 ?/ ]3 k• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
1 H/ t; c8 |% z' e7 {$ t* I• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
