The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

( @5 s9 l1 c5 e  F, U% H• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
8 i0 s2 i% Y9 K) f, D- c+ @• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
* t" h' T, U) C• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
/ y2 g6 M6 O- M& v• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
9 z9 V3 F' l# M6 u7 Z• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
) t; K! y- t$ r/ Q$ z7 @' i) x, S• Completion of a high school diploma
/ D& g- ^7 ^* Y( i# Q" z( T& A- E• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
0 U' k6 ~4 i' k+ x7 A. t8 r$ U# {Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
, W5 ?, U* B2 N5 f• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

Skill Sets
* T- P6 b8 M- z- _5 S% a• Good verbal and written communication skills
- K& ]+ G0 b& c$ I• Experience with personal care
2 U+ n' F3 g) R8 N" J; h# h! w# q% @• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
