The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

0 f" Q1 v  h4 X* q7 K" V3 j• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
! u/ k, `5 q3 H# ?, ^/ f4 Q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
: v* ^  Q; g6 s. Z• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
0 }9 `; x6 W$ w7 O5 I+ Q• Behavior management
2 \; U% R% c. h% ^3 ?• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

* z3 O3 U( |4 g) l- B9 fEducation
% D  R# [0 ?: u' X1 W• Completion of a high school diploma
1 K8 y! R! S+ {# x0 Z• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
# w% j* x3 U; Q' z• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
