The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
& q8 L3 S. O  L2 G) o5 {( R6 m! _; g• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
4 t0 t2 s* Q* D• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

' B. e' w" Q; z* Q9 r- u7 ?8 QMinimum Qualifications:
9 w) U( `3 a: [  G+ T4 L3 G- @Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
" l) f  M5 ?* f! }/ j$ w3 ]Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
" {% l2 L6 v! a' b" O- k* x8 Y• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
2 _0 T+ T- c9 c  [( t' H• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
+ W/ f* s; U$ y( j: {  T• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
