Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker. C- \/ j1 ?4 {/ V* C9 z' Q1 [

, x# x# ~% l' A* w9 g2 aPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
3 E) J. J9 m8 x0 X" R; d. p• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
2 S0 O: Y; _+ f3 _• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST% F/ H5 L6 Z r5 U) f
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
' d- Y& r% H- I2 b ^5 ~( n) h• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
4 _: o5 A( p! d' X( E/ k+ v• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings. B" K, [( o( O2 o6 w
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents; L" o( H4 L/ @0 t( l) E
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

/ U+ f# p& V* ~* W; C1 t• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters
- `) V) I) ~% R' P* ]• Maintain front counter service files
- w! F2 e- f8 A( l1 m• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset U5 W) N0 V# Z1 c$ q z: I1 V
• Good English writing and oral communication skills

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 2 T- V9 x! H9 j# M* n
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment1 y# h9 q, ], V$ k! `3 Y' t
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
* |/ ]8 ?0 M* Q• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
