0 Y8 o5 j t' T E8 B0 O# I: g3 YPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
2 W5 L" v( A$ {. \* m {3 k• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
8 {4 Z# d* @( F. v" {/ U• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately1 K% R$ W) P3 o- v; g
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
! b4 {; W, P' R; F" K/ M$ n: _• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
+ ]3 ~1 u& ~2 A! y$ W4 e• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents' s4 b; |, A( c. D
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

6 A" w! N: b# ?. ~( K• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person" Q; P" c$ q1 Z- B( @
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset/ Q$ ]1 y8 x2 i
• Good English writing and oral communication skills7 V% A7 \* I4 L: D# O
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients$ p4 s9 t7 q/ S6 A2 v0 T/ x$ R7 W. O
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
) E2 ~% p! i V4 Y/ o. l7 H) l• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ' q7 n* ^- w) E
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision- m( p, R3 Z4 X, p9 d' }! D
