0 B$ [ Y. g5 ]# `7 tEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
$ ]# `2 m) S. i4 O" o" p& H• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations./ n9 K0 g& x+ ~. U
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
6 F& \% @3 c. ro Test all new patch versions of software prior to release: H: T* l V1 c9 x: g. L
• Assist where needed in application questions.
9 O6 v; M8 L! O* N7 ~3 Y• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Track and report all warranty failures6 d* M- W/ n6 z" D* A" \- y
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.+ d; `! I8 `, n+ h
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.0 j% N# A/ }( W' Y/ K- ^0 b1 O, p* F0 Z
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.6 P6 F. a# o3 s4 h
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
; X. @" I. Q7 n9 ~, Eo Assist in information gather for any new product idea.+ J+ ^ Y3 c# a
o Assist in writing and new product specification0 O( P7 \, j6 N7 P6 R4 `
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools., S. y6 ~4 ]5 }

7 B6 w' n; q* C% d% T4 v5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers! f- S: n+ T& ^; ^+ S* D9 K
List of Skills/Qualifications * W" T7 u1 t' H* _' ^
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.5 U/ r4 Q, ~5 t/ d/ N4 m0 l! Z
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software
