( `) q# a8 W; V% C& n0 PEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.8 p. u6 d& W; t
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities# T3 P/ x n2 ?) e. U* ]) t; |; u
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
2 r+ X% R5 z2 U" ]! }: |1 h4 F• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.& u0 V; z; i' x& Z' G0 Y4 K5 ?) }. A) v' p
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems0 @6 @4 f, k; s9 V( C
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release4 T! S2 n" K% I2 ~! Z
• Assist where needed in application questions.$ F7 ~8 n% i* Y5 k; c( m( n* W
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
. B% }8 y! }) i/ P& {" so New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
9 {% w7 F( o- O/ To Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
# @0 q5 m0 u; C1 G9 ^o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
" ^! G V1 B8 I( j& T0 r$ {# E• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
. m$ e& P7 L8 U) t- Go Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
' s! A! A) x( v8 G* G3 yo Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
& Q7 ?% W# g! E* x! E" ^% t' So Assist in writing and new product specification. J9 G0 [) ^. z0 G
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
( v- s' X' u# V( Oo Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.4 v; x9 d8 w8 _; Y M$ ~
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

List of Skills/Qualifications
3 G" @& J; A z8 F( t) ?9 @- S• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
