& k/ ?0 }9 w2 Y% D' _6 n9 \Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
8 x, S" @. C, I3 WMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
' F# V' f+ P' A; y5 |# s8 Q•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
4 D0 \) |" E% Y  j2 l; Z% Z•        Assist where needed in application questions.
0 B* V3 F' J3 U% S% ?; Z5 [8 A•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

: n* P8 r  r. s4 f( w4 ?6 u( fo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
$ K1 S) j7 R) W# v9 S0 qo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
1 s1 U; f  t1 x9 ?! L* L4 H- |•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! t+ G2 q  t8 g8 No        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
* Y. ^  {, R- `7 W9 I8 E•        Assist in Sales support & training.
( U: }( `: G+ v5 D$ p' b•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
  P7 h, z4 a" ]4 M5 L5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
. h! V: L( z. _' j8 _- n•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
) k9 e( {- T5 A•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
- z; K& d4 f; B% X% r; r•        Proficient in software use and writing.
: w9 O9 x1 a7 I+ r" R% ?, f, `•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
