0 B$ [  Y. g5 ]# `7 tEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
$ ]# `2 m) S. i4 O" o" p& H•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations./ n9 K0 g& x+ ~. U
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
6 F& \% @3 c. ro        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release: H: T* l  V1 c9 x: g. L
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 O6 v; M8 L! O* N7 ~3 Y•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
/ E: O1 o! S1 c6 k; a: oo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
$ U1 s  q. P9 g7 f, ^9 io        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed# m. y3 }* x& x1 J, B$ V
•        Track and report all warranty failures6 d* M- W/ n6 z" D* A" \- y
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.+ d; `! I8 `, n+ h
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.0 j% N# A/ }( W' Y/ K- ^0 b1 O, p* F0 Z
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.6 P6 F. a# o3 s4 h
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
; X. @" I. Q7 n9 ~, Eo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.+ J+ ^  Y3 c# a
o        Assist in writing and new product specification0 O( P7 \, j6 N7 P6 R4 `
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
9 i. J+ S. L. E; U4 T/ N7 Jo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools., S. y6 ~4 ]5 }
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.# T( {9 r2 g; ^7 T3 N# ]

) x+ L6 k6 s3 ~6 k. K/ CProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
7 B6 w' n; q* C% d% T4 v5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers! f- S: n+ T& ^; ^+ S* D9 K
List of Skills/Qualifications        * W" T7 u1 t' H* _' ^
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.5 U/ r4 Q, ~5 t/ d/ N4 m0 l! Z
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
: y2 o5 }; q5 {9 m% \1 l•        Proficient in software use and writing.0 a# B5 L& n9 J4 e' o
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.% ^$ O! r3 O. ?2 R
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
