b9 W3 ~9 w( k• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed D8 [4 o, E; p
• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
1 }% X( K8 v- Y/ T4 @. w& z* Z• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers, ~3 t" ~! N( ?" l/ f
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams0 ` w) u+ _9 k: ]& `8 K
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
0 O5 |7 N: G! S9 U* N9 f• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
5 {* b4 s; K5 ^. q- F$ u5 N• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
. X* O; h( f$ ]; V' P9 R- ?7 I• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting" A8 p& Y& ]; ]% X9 C: {) G
• Mix paint, blend and match colors
4 H! C p7 K B8 k& r• Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
1 A& T# K& z8 L' R) \% k8 q1 ~• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs! A8 K8 Y0 m" ?0 n9 w5 s4 \
• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation' h( W" t+ S4 M G8 {
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling

• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program 4 U( u" |& s+ }/ g
or+ v' M- F( Z3 h, d, I0 Q
A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade 1 h i2 R+ i7 w+ r+ H0 |1 [; ?
