: Q( V* b' Z) n7 W4 q6 Q3 WTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  i0 ^) y" H! u- J3 j7 FReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:; Y( b" P: C( a: k6 B/ R
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
0 N& A6 ?' L" i1 T1 Y) z" u•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: g9 a9 H" g& u) v•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
+ |9 p" Q9 u2 w- U( g4 l•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
9 p1 V, E  E8 p: B( v; k: t•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
+ T7 J  V7 I7 @7 a•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
) e, L, R( d6 L9 P+ e. u  O•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.7 h) F3 r  g1 T7 X5 w- ]
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.6 d& @9 v4 w3 ^- x7 l2 j' _
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
- z6 Q1 p3 ~* [3 G# p$ A•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.6 O9 v( y2 E2 R6 r- D7 w+ ~
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.0 j! r. H  p+ ~
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.4 r5 ?6 x: M# g+ ]# v$ T: F
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.; s% ?! W! K9 b* }- c4 O

Requirements:
- F+ A+ n6 K) j. E; o  C8 V•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 3 }9 S5 h: n" L( B0 H' s
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. , \6 r5 U# `. ~* \' q
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
4 m2 `% \! P' ?) ~$ Z, }•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.8 q, W7 T  e+ _( O( t# [9 m4 ^" k
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.* v4 q/ a+ J4 v  r* s
