Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
, _  A& z3 N: w, Z9 ~7 t•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
% i, U! B4 [4 \' k: \$ p/ k; ~& P•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
0 Y4 m+ P# R2 x! C& z•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
+ z$ r. F9 l' R' m( |9 w•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
3 r! G; {! g/ \( z; o3 l+ \•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
+ I- h# ?7 b1 _7 j# B•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
) ]9 V1 P" c1 w8 Q) h& E, m5 z•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
& n, Y* D& L7 ~' B•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

( v& F1 b+ D; v/ d) j4 ^: y% T+ uRequirements:
$ I& R0 c. G' G5 [( }•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
5 E) `# p+ X7 ~* p# \•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
9 z' c# B) ~# H* C+ U! b# e/ ~% k+ G•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
