Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
3 L# H2 Q* |. L9 c5 F) B•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
  ?# K6 |/ R, z•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
! J8 v  T7 J) [: k•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
7 Y) F" R$ U0 ?) K•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
. }, W) q5 s- h7 h  H& U3 w•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
  ~/ H: I2 a! R8 F' n•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
, n% s; @) h1 P/ v: D•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
/ K7 c( q6 n' \•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
% Z7 J. v$ c: t2 f6 O+ C& g6 j•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
