Description
: X! @& c  P1 E) ]: b/ W1 z% P1 lTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.; G' A3 |0 l3 i2 o4 C: f
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
3 ^9 ^* @( Y$ p5 N3 Z& W# Q•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
, y4 i" B0 q6 d3 L% ^•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
" T# X4 n4 y6 U3 k3 Y3 Y•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
- g* e) j8 N+ m) f; N8 K4 V2 J1 D/ @•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.4 o  @7 ]/ ^1 \& z  Z
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. $ L) T) e/ Y" A/ ~
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
: d. d5 }8 O6 _6 b0 k& Z1 X/ U•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required., d7 f0 E7 J( w! i7 ]5 r
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
2 @5 g- E9 ~) g1 ]$ g6 x- E8 a•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).! n, h8 P" B: p! C9 r
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
, q; X% d& X3 H% `0 X. }1 l•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
1 N2 }( A4 k7 E% d( K•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.5 E: M+ G) ~& h- K
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.7 [, }0 n: x" s. _* u+ [& u  {

Requirements:
/ A7 d! I3 e* t3 w•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
! p8 X* V$ v3 u5 O  _, |  f2 X•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ! f  j0 E7 ?- r, r; C( |
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. " w: @4 u( d5 G" h' e& X: N& [
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.) k. b+ ]% I/ T* o/ M/ z' R
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
