: p9 D3 f; a! W' fReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:$ \" _  ^9 k3 u, t& q
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.9 H+ I! |# j7 y$ c2 p7 N2 W7 s3 F- j
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
4 \( X4 C) G0 A% k1 {  p3 p. _1 H•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
. J4 C: ]. I# u3 A! V! N) I•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
$ R% I/ t, B3 S$ \, x•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. - d7 p( i% J7 m7 [: B7 j! [6 v+ F% E
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.- E4 }' h) c8 u% a6 v& P: m6 i
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
6 F. n/ U) d. B% s5 E  b•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
. W0 L/ b( I# o2 t# O! p3 Z$ t•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
4 g% C8 u3 ^4 Y•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
2 o; ?& _4 q3 V: c! I6 v3 e•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.' {) Q; j; K( ?/ `7 Q/ B/ w4 }% q2 d
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.

•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

* w' C! V" k8 @/ tRequirements:* D/ J8 l. b/ a( ^& Z# g
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. % W6 O7 ]7 V% l5 S) O, j; }8 }8 M
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. . G! t, f/ R# a0 s$ n( z. q% p9 N
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. . b# J# q2 U0 P6 k+ u% c; }
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.* \8 F$ u: W& _' f1 p
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
