2 I' {/ G& q& B* M) ZTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  A( B- L; O# |7 H, E$ Y4 e" GReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:/ O6 ^' l* m; e. P6 S9 w
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.9 j  l; F& a! l; Q. l+ @" b
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.& S: J5 s9 n; T
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
' Z* V: {( g& e5 z2 F: H' y•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
% E0 b* Q7 R" u/ [# e% O" v  X  O•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 7 w. X  }& R% `. R4 F
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
) r# U2 v" v. ?' S1 T( L# S9 \•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
+ c/ ~2 \1 y2 Z( i1 H, \•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
$ k3 U! {+ \  s; `# \•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
, x+ ]0 e3 G  c. P8 v) v) Q•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
0 S9 u. R2 ^& z5 T" O•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
& a, l, M; O  X1 ~& T6 s# u•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.) \+ q# N* S8 _( l3 B5 x
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
& T9 \5 j; m2 V+ A•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.5 d! L  X7 i$ \# o
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications3 D- k* T. r* p% t
Requirements:
+ k+ M& B) Q2 q6 d) q( |3 S•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 6 x# c! J2 |+ A! ?' O
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 7 G% V) Y# Y/ i( Y0 l8 Y4 e5 U
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
/ D4 G8 O; Y$ y4 r# H- r•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
4 w% x) O1 x5 C6 q$ V•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
