Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.* e$ {9 w/ I, n0 j2 l. z9 \
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.* G. W) J% ?: r9 m; n q! X+ ~6 E: a: [
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
0 Y4 m+ P# R2 x! C& z• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
+ z$ r. F9 l' R' m( |9 w• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required., f. b" h! @2 u
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.0 f" Y/ r) P/ k% x$ O, F) X
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
3 r! G; {! g/ \( z; o3 l+ \• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
+ I- h# ?7 b1 _7 j# B• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

& n, Y* D& L7 ~' B• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.8 ]( \' A. N* ^3 T2 p& ^5 m
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

$ I& R0 c. G' G5 [( }• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
5 E) `# p+ X7 ~* p# \• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 9 G6 s+ E L) D m9 R/ P+ l
• Strong Union Relations experience required. # |) S( G% M. Q- R; {5 _
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
