Position Summary:
/ S+ G6 t$ |; d0 W) P- y9 hWithin the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:" ?0 }% o: K1 h2 `, h5 A5 L( n
• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
: t# I& J* n( o2 c* I }9 _• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST- U$ l, p" c- X$ Z- T; O
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately4 w9 \8 e% X7 h0 b, m V& l2 S" p; m
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter& B3 S: f4 \8 L" K
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents6 s8 L' |& J5 N5 i& ?! V* t5 X
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

1 M6 {* b4 x8 m# v) `• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Perform general office duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
, d; |+ h5 y O• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
% U8 `/ T/ [8 ~" I1 x# f1 ~• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset6 E$ X( }6 c- D
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
) L6 N5 B6 X! i: x/ y- g• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
3 k# d, k) v2 ]• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds/ l$ q9 W8 f, n

Qualifications:9 n/ n# d, H5 t4 ^7 B" y8 a& X
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 8 ?( H$ I& z2 d0 F8 ~% z; Y
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
/ ?, R1 `) W! I# h( H; i• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism+ A( O$ q1 U j8 v: B% p2 Z
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision2 `& W9 b- g1 f J
