EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven2 f5 u8 c: M8 b1 P- Q% ^, E% T
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.6 O O7 @; ]; j3 {3 o5 y+ v( T, _

Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm }! l) y W& d- H2 y. Q
Rhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
0 M& x4 ]$ W+ ? L( WThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
4 d( _0 u# _/ l# Q5 Etheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for/ X. V9 `8 v# K6 P' k, K) _3 i( i
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an, d4 G* F: i: L
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It
" r7 s; p Y/ t* Zencourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,& [! D3 Q* I( ^' j4 u( h
fun, and supportive environment.
/ }+ \" U" K! w% X! xEach family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
) C8 K' E2 I) H8 Z1 A. cregistration is required; a snack will be provided.
