The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven
; A# H! \# c9 o3 N) [weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.2 Z3 W. }# @% y
(No session March 27th, 2012)
' j& G1 A$ I# gSnack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm
' u. A' ^+ G- u# |Rhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
+ b$ Q) e4 g! x8 CThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
8 V5 |- Y7 j2 c! }# ?their child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for6 L: [" N- O5 ?: X! t* v, ^- q
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an0 N/ P4 N* y# p3 i( T+ X$ M$ Q) t( m
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It
1 v2 E: `" a* R {encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,9 C6 l& B# Z# F
fun, and supportive environment.8 i" Z9 |- i- d9 w
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
2 `7 r* u4 q$ zregistration is required; a snack will be provided.- y6 @7 F; c( O: X$ i( N
