This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
9 l! j' E( Z6 ^- p( d/ E2 J& u. Ztheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for3 ]% u: \* v! \3 L$ K! l6 E( D' g
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an) W' V% ?! ?4 P' k/ v. b" z7 J7 f
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It; B. a7 h$ C8 h: ^0 \
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,, y2 q0 N1 d* l& [0 Q% T# f
fun, and supportive environment.
' P& E) i7 ?/ X2 A# @* yEach family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
1 L2 u- j0 q# V- G7 Vregistration is required; a snack will be provided.
