- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services7 G M9 `; Z1 [2 U( W `# A8 ]3 M
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies

- coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- prepare and send AGM information to members+ ^; n; c! U# N5 ^$ v2 i
- assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre: w: s, z& L/ L2 |# n4 g2 n
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
& |" d) J+ e8 O4 G0 {- assist in writing proposal for ISP/ }0 x3 L. I. u# X# D; S
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- hold regular meetings with ISP team: L$ K5 \* ^7 }; T2 M
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time' O! j) P: Y1 }* J5 S
- update membership database

Qualifications0 D, C3 Q$ W8 I, u
- degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education - v6 V, F2 J& o7 X
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 \" z4 t5 E, l7 {) u, `- experience in community work and immigrant services4 R! T3 y$ l% L0 U. Z- V( }3 O+ q
- ability to coordinate workshops and seminars
