- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers4 p- R% }1 ?+ s, x2 q; @: o
- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties% v' {7 s) d e: _) a
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
# b# `' C. f: S! r- provide volunteers for various programs & q" S( F7 `, ? f1 C
- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
6 f; j: |1 u. I6 x- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services" Q; p. Q9 {4 Q

- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

- development and distribution of a volunteer manual
7 k- N! z3 r2 v" \- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers

- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis

7 g, M, R) W: u5 p& L- HQualifications
* S6 ?8 U1 x7 ]. ^ h2 v+ {- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
6 h* Z1 F, s4 } m9 W3 B- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
! G% K0 Y& O5 d& |! j* v8 n- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services- w6 D& S1 Y+ E( l, \2 S
- leadership skills- l* q" I0 j9 t q6 z! f
- management and supervision skills/ a* L M6 A b: F+ \" }2 f
- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
