# i ^/ M3 b j* }Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person3 v- o# S: M u. o
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST8 T& n+ k( P3 [4 n
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately- o# y) O7 O( E) U( Y+ S
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter( u; H! s: L. R5 L: h. d* `
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
( d0 ?; z X" {; o# A h• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker- G) {4 a4 I9 E5 A. h
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
) ? p! x+ M* i! S- z0 x- T• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events3 t" v/ f a7 U8 B3 o, i. p
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean% ]2 t% h- X# ?3 \+ H, k! n
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters5 Z+ G8 H6 J* x+ Q
• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1 n/ E! O9 q* A! j& V8 P• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
# ?6 ~3 ], B* @ U6 |$ g; P• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
3 J! h% H E7 z6 `# n• Good English writing and oral communication skills
Y+ i0 m. s" t6 R• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
$ H- n' |6 l5 X• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
# b: n- N& q' ~• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience

• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism! ^/ W# V8 L' U) j z* o4 f
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision3 g& Z/ D* q# z$ P+ \( q- y
