Z* l( g8 n3 p: [, NPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
( z2 K/ T B9 n; K# k' i• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
6 o; c- X% P' j; D3 C/ |3 _• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter8 D7 i2 G+ o1 k2 V4 r& q
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
5 Z6 @6 C, L- L6 I$ ^* C• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events2 z2 ^# u! r) D. Y
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
$ v; g0 O6 j3 i6 v/ L& Q0 n3 Q8 I6 E• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Good English writing and oral communication skills( H/ |5 o: t5 T/ ?% f T+ _, b
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients6 q) Q: B; D/ F, b' Y
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ( @2 H. S Z& f, [5 W$ P

• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
