- t6 ], y: i8 b% |/ ? v) j5 ^Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. + @# T$ r; \1 m! ^2 o1 _% Z

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person8 l' j. _$ M8 P8 E3 z5 Y
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
" L0 R5 R2 @5 f H5 O# a$ n• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately( I" P) C) \' W( f* c6 v1 R9 a
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter% q6 b0 l- F* W j
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
9 `" U- T7 K3 {$ R• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events+ _+ @( V6 Y7 j
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean' J- K, T% Q; d, ~' {
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters
* N8 U! D6 ~ V% J# M( h) X6 z+ ?• Maintain front counter service files4 k+ Z. x* N/ \- r5 ]% P4 E) O
• Perform general office duties as assigned- ]! z0 c# ]) S' v& E5 W' v8 L
• Report to ISP Program Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
# z: F9 J7 |5 N ^• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person' @) J* n G6 E5 D4 w2 L0 X
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset

@' T! z9 b. R. P; B6 f6 M% l• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
; o Z) M3 v# {% L- q" C• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook! [* X. S- m$ |- {- Y- }" A* c
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately
& y- k7 y" L$ G• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
3 X6 ^- h" D* ?4 P• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment8 l$ H5 m7 C& B& Z& C
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism6 H. |% k7 l3 f' h. ~! m1 `
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
